Where are the Jobs?
The near- trillion dollar stimulus bill (Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) which the Democrats touted as a JOBS BILL has done nothing to kick start the Private Sector! The Democrats’ spending spree has only burdened the American people and future generations with unprecedented debt!
Florida Congressman Alan Grayson boasts about this spending spree on his web site! He says that he has doubled government spending in his district. With all this spending, we need to ask Mr. Grayson, “where are the jobs?” In fact our unemployment rate hovers around 12% in our district which is even higher than the national average of 9.7%!!
Who in Grayson’s district is getting the money? Local business owner and GOP challenger for the congressional seat held by Grayson, Bruce O’Donoghue has pointed out that Grayson is funneling millions of taxpayers’ dollars into organizations that serve as front groups for unions such as the AFL-CIO (www.graysonfiles.com). It is not surprising to find these labor groups on his list of campaign contributors.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Alan Grayson soon claims that being unemployed is a right!
CHART OF THE DAY: The Scariest Job Chart Ever Just Got Even Scarier

Business InsiderWe’ve dubbed this chart the “Scariest Job Chart Ever,” as it shows how the decline in employment is WAY uglier than in past recessions.
Why?
Check out the two red lines at the bottom. The solid one includes Census hiring, while the dotted line doesn’t include it.
What’s clear is that while we still have a rebound including Census hiring, we’re already flattening out on the dotted line. This is a shape not seen on the other lines. suggesting that the fall is extremely deep, and the recovery is shallow.
